HouseKeeper
Big Bear Vacations housekeepers provide exceptional service to Big Bear Vacation guests while performing all housekeeping duties.
Note that our accommodations are not typical hotel rooms, they are cabins with several rooms. This requires more attention to detail and following procedures different than a typical hotel situation.
For this position Big Bear Vacations is looking for employees that will follow procedures, are accommodating, able to work alone, can communicate factually, able to multi-task, able to work with in deadlines, and are thorough with their work.
*This position requires a valid driver license, and a reliable vehicle with insurance. (four wheel drive preferred)
Maintenance
Perform work orders in a timely and efficient basis
Maintenance work orders to be done to the standards of Big Bear Vacations
Perform maintenance inspections when assigned
Assure that all paperwork associated with the job is accurate and timely
Do not waste supplies or materials
Other duties as may be assigned

Quality Assurance & Housekeeping Lead
Big Bear Vacations (BBV) is seeking a Quality Assurance & Housekeeping Lead (QAHL) The QAHL is responsible for documenting, maintaining, and implementing the quality processes and procedures. The QAHL works with all the BBV departments to ensure that quality processes are current and being followed. The QAHL leads the Property Management team who among other duties, inspect and certify the cleanliness of the rental units meets the BBV cleanliness standards and inspect and certify that all maintenance work performed on the rental units meets the BBV quality standards.
Details
Lead, Manage, and hold Accountable the Property Management and Housekeeping teams.
Document, maintain, and implement the BBV quality processes and procedures
Serve as first level of escalation for owner issues
Serve as first level of escalation for guest issues
Establish and maintain a culture based on quality across the organization
Report weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual quality metrics across all departments
Establish a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process and assist with RCA problem solving
Experience and Job Requirements
Detail oriented
Keen eye for error detection, Six Sigma DMAIC problem solving skills a plus, Property management background, Experience with Google cloud environment (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Drive), Outgoing personality, Ability to maintain composure under stressful environment, Willing to work every holiday and extended hours during peak season, Manage a team of 10 direct reports, up to 40 indirect reports, College Degree a plus (Industrial Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Business), Must live in Big Bear, CA, Bilingual would be a plus (Spanish / English), Willing to travel, Willing to work 40+ hrs per week, Willing to work weekends and holidays

Organize and coordinate company events.
Job Skill Requirements: Computer literacy (Spreadsheet, Docs, Networking basics, Google G-Suite, Quickbooks Online, ADP Payroll), Moderate understanding of Human Resources, Ability to work independently, Analytical, BS or BA college degree, Sociable, Able to juggle multiple task and prioritize, 1 – 5 years experience
Must live in Big Bear Valley or be willing and able to get to work in Big Bear regardless of weather.
Front Desk
The Guest Service Representatives primary responsibility is to provide exceptional guest service at all times; by servicing guest with Check-Ins, Check-Out’s, and all In-House guest matters. To fill this position Big Bear Vacations is looking for accommodating, respectful, socially oriented, people. They must perform well under pressure and have a sense of urgency, yet pay attention to the details. Applicants must have moderate computer knowledge and be comfortable on the phone, Guest Service experience is a plus.
Vacation Planner / Call Center
The Reservation Sales Agent’s primary responsibility is to capture as many reservations as possible by utilizing effective selling techniques and all available tools. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, sales-minded, customer-focused and detail-oriented with a high degree of computer literacy, the willingness to learn new processes, and the ability to merge into a dynamic work environment. For this position Big Bear Vacations is looking for Independent, take charge people who are social, yet have a sense of urgency.
