Snow Summit and Bear Mountain are the two ski resorts in Big Bear. We offer several homes that are just a short walk to the slopes of Bear Mountain and to a shuttle that will take you to Snow Summit.
Both of the ski resorts are family-friendly and are known for their selection of runs for all levels of experience. Beginner and intermediate skiers and snowboarders tend to like Snow Summit while snowboarders and advanced skiers flock to Bear Mountain. Bear Mountain is popular among snowboarders because of its terrain park which includes jumps, poles, boxes, tables, a halfpipe, and a superpipe.
If you are looking for a slightly less extreme way to enjoy the snow, check out Snow Summit’s Grizzly Ridge Tubing Park. The tubing park has a magic carpet that will take you to the top of the hill, where you will then have the chance to zip back downhill on your snow tube.
