Big Bear Ziplining Adventure
Available for tours all year long with weather permitting, Action Zipline provides one of the most reputable Big Bear zipline tours in the area. Consisting of a three-hour journey through Johnson Valley that traverses an off-road forest path, nine high-speed runs, and a suspension bridge, Action Zipline’s tours are a fun and exhilarating way to explore the breathtaking mountain terrain of Big Bear.
Before you can set off on your Big Bear zipline tour, you’ll want to assure that you meet Action Zipline’s requirements for riding. Participants should be in good health, and not suffering from heart, respiratory, back, or foot conditions. Pregnant visitors may not participate, unfortunately. Riders must weigh between sixty-five and two hundred and fifty pounds. There are no minimum height requirements, but there is a height maximum of six feet and six inches.
Participants in the zipline tour are given the proper gear for safety and are taught how to properly ride on a zipline both through a safety video and a practice run on a lowered zipline. It’s also recommended that you drink plenty of water before setting off on the tour.
Riders should also dress appropriately for ziplining in Big Bear, wearing weather-appropriate clothing, hiking shoes, hair ties if they have long hair, and knee-length bottoms or longer. Riders should not wear any form of open-toed shoes or dangling jewelry like necklaces or bracelets, and may not wear anything attached to their belt or belt loops. Cameras are not allowed, nor are cell phones. Storage lockers are provided on-site, so you can tuck your valuables away for the duration of the tour.
