While we may not think of St. Patrick’s Day as a big holiday for travel, we guarantee you will have the most fun when you spend it in Big Bear Lake! St Paddy’s Day is just around the corner. Expect to find exciting events happening in and around Big Bear for your enjoyment. Here is how you can celebrate Big Bear St. Patrick’s Day this year:

St Paddy’s Day Pre-Party

Local favorite Wyatt’s Grill & Saloon kicks off the St Patrick’s Day weekend with a pre-party that is exciting for adults and children alike. Check out this local grill for all kinds of exciting activities including cabbage bowling, an indoor bounce house, arts and crafts, and other various contests. Irish food is on the menu, including classic corned beef and cabbage. It also would not be a St. Paddy’s Day celebration without green beer on tap for the adults too! Admission into the St. Paddy’s Day Pre-Party is just $5 for adults, while children 14 years old and younger get in for free. Call ahead to reserve a table by dialing 909-585-3000. You can find Wyatt’s Grill & Saloon at the Big Bear Convention Center located at 42900 Big Bear Blvd.

Plenty of Time to Ski

While you may not think springtime is an ideal time to ski in Big Bear, our ski season is still going strong. While the temperatures are beginning to rise, less traffic will be found on the mountain. This allows you to enjoy all the skiing you can ask for without the big crowds of winter. Big Bear Mountain Resort will continue to be open during Big Bear St. Patrick’s Day Weekend, so you can easily purchase lift tickets during your stay. Rental gear will also still be available, meaning you can pack light and leave all your heavy equipment back home. This year’s skiing season is anticipated to end sometime during the month of April.

Plenty of Fun in Big Bear for the Spring

St. Patrick’s Day Weekend is just one of the many reasons we encourage you to visit Big Bear during the spring. Our vacation rentals are available year-round to make sure you have somewhere comfortable to stay. The spring season is one of our quieter seasons for vacation rentals, so expect to find some of our best rentals available to book!
