The highlight of the Fourth of July in Big Bear Lake is undoubtedly the Fireworks Spectacular, a breathtaking display that lights up the night sky over the water. Organized by the Big Bear Rotary Club, this annual event draws visitors from near and far to witness one of the most dazzling fireworks shows in the region. The show typically begins around 8:45pm and can be seen from numerous vantage points around the lake, including public parks, beaches and lakeside resorts. The Fireworks Spectacular explodes over Big Bear Lake every July 4th and is FREE to spectators. Local radio station KBHR airs a musical accompaniment to the show on 93.3 FM and 102.5 FM.

Experience “Above the Boom” at Snow Summit this Fourth of July for a unique celebration at 8,200 feet. This special event includes a scenic chairlift ride to the top of Snow Summit, offering panoramic views of the fireworks over Big Bear Lake. Guests can enjoy live music, a DJ, family-friendly activities and all-American BBQ favorites. The festivities start in the evening, with the chairlift operating from 7pm-10pm. Tickets, which include the lift ride and access to all activities, go on sale mid June and sell out quickly, so be sure to grab yours early for an unforgettable Independence Day experience. Elevate your 4th of July at Above the Boom, featuring panoramic views of the Big Bear Fireworks Spectacular. Enjoy live entertainment, dinner, family-friendly activities, and more before your roundtrip on the Scenic Sky Chair to watch the fireworks from the top of Snow Summit.

Big Bear Lake Convention Center hosts this fair every year for friends and families to come enjoy the local flavor of Big Bear. It provides a family friendly option for the big holiday weekend. There will be arts & crafts, activities, and a bounce house for the kiddos. The Big Bear Lake Independence Day Fair provides a fun-filled outing under the pines. Enjoy shopping, activities for the little ones, and live entertainment in the high-altitude beer garden. Featuring arts and crafts booths with unique and one-of-a-kind items. Vendors will be selling a large variety of items including wire-wrap jewelry, home & garden decor, candles, health products, toys and vintage clothing. Little visitors will enjoy a variety of activities including a bounce house, arts & crafts, and a balloon artist. This year’s live entertainment line-up features the Street Music Band performing on the outside Wyatt’s Stage.

The event will begin with dinner and drinks at 7PM. Shotgun will start at 8PM, ending at approximately 10PM. All Glow Golf reservations include the following (per person): – Dinner (finger foods) & 1 draft beer or fountain soda; – 1 glow ball (additional glow balls available for purchase at the Pro Shop); – Green fee & cart rental.
